Retail Arbitrage Prep – Labels for FBA

FNSKU Label

When re-selling products you need to re-label the product’s original UPC barcode with a new FNSKU. Amazon cannot use this UPC barcode to connect your product to your Seller Central Account. They need to scan an FNSKU code that links the product to your store. Therefore, you must remove or cover the old UPC code. Additionally, you must apply a new FNSKU code, built in your Seller Central account. This links the product to your account with an Amazon picker scans your product for fulfillment. To learn more about this critical aspect of retail arbitrage prep, take two minutes to read our FNSKU label guide.

‘Sold As Set’ Label

Eventually, a retail arbitrage seller will sell a set of items. Proper retail arbitrage prep is important here. Amazon’s pickers need to know when your products are ‘sold as a set’. Otherwise, they will unpack your products into individual units. As such, sellers need to apply a ‘Sold As Set’ label to product packaging paired units. In fact, place the label on the package’s sealed area. This serves as a physical and visual que to keep the products together. To learn more, take two minutes to read our ‘Sold As Set’ label guide.

FBA Expiration Date Label

Any product with a shelf life or that loses effectiveness with time requires an expiration date label. Additionally, products with preprinted dates also need a label.
